Random vibration test
Leave the random vibration testing of packaged and wrapped cargo to us. The test bench size is 1.2m × 1.2m, and large palletized cargo can be easily loaded.
This contract testing service evaluates how much vibration packaged goods can withstand during transportation. Vibration testing on packaged goods is shifting from sinusoidal sweeping to random waves becoming the mainstream. ▼ For more details, please download the PDF document (recommended). ▼ Customers in a hurry, please contact us using the "Contact Us" section below.
basic information
JIS Z 0232: Packaging Goods - Vibration Test Methods Random vibration can generate vibrations that are closer to actual transportation environments than pure sine waves. To achieve this, vibrations are defined by a combination of frequency and acceleration root mean square value, known as PSD (Power Spectral Density). In random vibration testing, the shape of this PSD is crucial. Many testing standards recommend using a PSD that reflects the transportation environment of the company's products, but only a few major manufacturers have a grasp of their transportation environment in terms of PSD data. Therefore, in most cases, random vibration tests are conducted using reference values of PSD found in various testing standards. The advantage of incorporating random vibration into packaging tests is to achieve proper packaging that is neither excessive nor insufficient. Customers interested in the PSD of their transportation routes are encouraged to check the product page below. Please refer to the transportation environment data measurement service. ◆ JBL Packaging Test Facility: ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) certified since December 2010.
