Warped sensor

Warped sensor
Kistler's piezoelectric sensors can measure the strain generated in structures with high resolution. The measurement of strain indirectly assesses the forces applied to the structure being measured. One advantage of this mounting method is that the structure undergoes virtually no changes. Strain can be measured indirectly from the surface of the structure or directly from within. Additionally, since strain acts in various directions, two types of sensors are provided: one that responds in the longitudinal direction relative to the mounting hole and another that responds in the transverse direction.
