1-component force sensor (load washer, force link, press force)(5)
The 1-component force sensors, which come in a rich variety, measure compression, compression/tension, or shear direction. Load washers (load cells) are a versatile series of sensors that can be utilized in various applications. A sensor that has been preloaded from above and below with special screws is called a force link. A preloaded sensor can measure both tension and compression. High-sensitivity force sensors are designed to measure very small forces and are ideal for testing switches. Due to their internal structure, they have up to 30 times the sensitivity of load washers and provide reliable results for measuring minute forces.
-
3-component force sensor (load washer, force link)(1)
The three-component force sensor, which comes in a rich variety, measures shear directions (Fx, Fy) and compression direction (Fz). It is a versatile sensor series that can be utilized in various applications. There are two types of force sensors: one that is preloaded and assembled on-site before use, and another that is shipped from the factory already preloaded.
-
Multi-component force sensor(4)
The multi-component force sensor incorporates a pair of quartz plates that respond in the vertical direction to measure forces in the Z direction, and two pairs of quartz plates that respond in the shear direction to measure forces in the X and Y directions. The high-sensitivity measurement elements are compactly integrated into a high-quality steel case, featuring high rigidity, a high natural frequency, excellent durability, high load capacity, and a small size.

General-purpose pressure sensor(8)
For relative pressure measurement applications, Kistler's piezoelectric pressure sensors have a high natural frequency, resulting in good frequency response, making them suitable for various cases that require dynamic pressure measurement. They also feature a wide pressure measurement range and a broad operating temperature range. On the other hand, for absolute pressure measurement applications, piezoresistive absolute pressure sensors are also available. Piezoresistive absolute pressure sensors have a high natural frequency, providing good frequency response, and can be used in various cases that require measurement of both static and dynamic pressures.
-
In-line pressure sensor(20)
The features of Kistler's cavity pressure sensors include a long lifespan, high linearity in measurement results, and sensitivity that does not depend on ambient temperature. They can measure pressures up to 2,000 bar and temperatures up to 300°C. A wide variety of cavity pressure sensors are available to suit different molding materials, part shapes, and installation locations. Additionally, Kistler focuses on cavity pressure monitoring, aiming for zero defects in the injection molding process in a systematic and effective manner. The cavity pressure monitoring system can set the manufacturing conditions of molded products to the most beneficial process values and can immediately detect defective products at the early stages of defect occurrence.

Accelerometer(1)
It is an accelerometer series.
-
Warped sensor(4)
Kistler's piezoelectric sensors can measure the strain generated in structures with high resolution. The measurement of strain indirectly assesses the forces applied to the structure being measured. One advantage of this mounting method is that the structure undergoes virtually no changes. Strain can be measured indirectly from the surface of the structure or directly from within. Additionally, since strain acts in various directions, two types of sensors are provided: one that responds in the longitudinal direction relative to the mounting hole and another that responds in the transverse direction.
-
Torque sensor (rotary type)(8)
The Kistler sensor for measuring torque on a rotating shaft is based on the principle of strain gauges. It features high precision, high rigidity, and excellent thermal stability. The power supply and measurement signals are transmitted without contact with the torque measurement shaft. The type that operates without bearings does not require consideration of wear and maintains high accuracy. Non-contact digital signal communication from the rotor to the stator, built-in signal control, normalization algorithms, frequency output, and various interfaces make it easy to integrate into existing testing systems.
-
Torque sensor (non-rotating type)(2)
A piezoelectric sensor with high preload is used as a reaction torque sensor. A quartz plate cut to respond in the shear direction is arranged in a circumferential manner, with its response direction aligned tangentially. The storage of the quartz plate and the shape of the sensor resemble that of a single-component load washer. The torque acting on the sensor generates a tangential shear force on the quartz plate. Since all the quartz plates are electrically connected in parallel, the total output signal is proportional to the value of the torque. The sensor is mounted with high axial preload using preload bolts and nuts. This allows the quartz plates, which respond in the shear direction through static friction, to react and capture slight dynamic changes in torque. With high resolution and robust design, it is capable of measuring a wide range of dynamic torque. The structure of the torque dynamometer is the same as that of the reaction torque sensor. With a wide installation surface and flexible cover plate screw holes, it is versatile for various applications.

Cutting power meter(12)
The reliability of the cutting force measurement system is extremely important. Kistler applies the highest levels of quality and reliability standards to each component that makes up the measurement system. Special attention is paid to protection against cutting fluids and other contaminants in terms of maintaining measurement stability. Furthermore, the dynamometer and connection cables are grounded and insulated, ensuring noise-free measurements. The dynamometer is versatile and can be used for various applications. At the same time, it has also been developed for specific machining applications and special processing methods.
