Linear encoder "Linear scale system"(14)
The linear encoder from Makome Research Institute is a measurement system that reads a scale marked with repeating N-pole and S-pole stripes using a head, detects displacement, and outputs measurement values electrically. Due to magnetic detection, it is possible to perform measurements without being affected by dust and debris. Additionally, because it uses Makome Research Institute's unique high-sensitivity magnetic detection elements, it can achieve complete non-contact between the scale and the head, preventing wear even during repeated operations, which significantly reduces maintenance. It is sometimes referred to as the Makome scale by long-time users.
-
Potentiometer(7)
It is a magnetic linear displacement sensor. You can choose from voltage or current output types.
-
Instruction manual(1)
We are partially publishing the instruction manuals for product attachments. If you cannot find the product you are looking for, please contact us. Please search from the catalog categories.
-
Non-destructive testing(3)
Detects metal joints and welds non-contact.
-
Magnetic proximity switch(20)
Unlike reed switches, magnetoresistive elements, and Hall elements, this is a magnetic proximity switch that utilizes unique technology developed by Makome Research Institute. It has a long lifespan and is maintenance-free because it does not use any physical wear parts.

Inclinometer - Tilt Angle Detector(6)
A pendulum is used for tilt angle detection. A servo is applied at the same angle as the tilt of the pendulum, and the control amount at this time is output as an analog voltage. The pendulum is supported by bearings to ensure durability. Both horizontal and vertical types are available. A compact MEMS type CM-961A is also available.

Guide Sensor for Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)(7)
This is a "guide sensor" for automated guided vehicles (AGVs). It detects the magnetic field from the "guide tape" laid on the floor and measures the deviation of the AGV from the center of the guide tape, allowing the AGV to be guided along the route. ● Linear analog output type ● Digital-analog hybrid output type ● Switching parallel output type ● CAN communication compatible type We have a variety of options available. Additionally, we also offer various types of guide tape for guidance purposes.
-
Small magnetic switch/magnetic sensor(11)
This is a magnetic switch/magnetic sensor that accurately detects the center of a magnet installed at the origin position of a precision moving stage, etc.
-
Sleeve sensor(5)
The "Sleeve Sensor" from Makome Research Institute consists of a metal tube sleeve of the object being detected and a probe that contains a position detection coil. It is an absolute type displacement measurement device that outputs the relative position as a direct current voltage. Since the "sleeve" (metal tube) and the "probe" (rod-shaped detection coil) are non-contact, the influence of dirt and vibration on the measurement is greatly reduced.
-
Spot Mark Reader for Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)(5)
It is a "spot mark reader" for automated guided vehicles (AGVs). Using address magnets, absolute addresses are installed on the floor. By reading the magnetic information from these address magnets with the "spot mark reader," it detects where the automated guided vehicle is traveling and serves as a trigger to determine the next action of the vehicle.
-
Positioning sensor(4)
It is a "positioning sensor" that utilizes a magnetic proximity switch. It can be used for counting the number of times a magnetic object passes through and for positioning.
-
Magnetic rotary potentiometer(5)
It is a rotary potentiometer using a magnetic sensor.
