Sleeve sensor

Sleeve sensor
The "Sleeve Sensor" from Makome Research Institute consists of a metal tube sleeve of the object being detected and a probe that contains a position detection coil. It is an absolute type displacement measurement device that outputs the relative position as a direct current voltage. Since the "sleeve" (metal tube) and the "probe" (rod-shaped detection coil) are non-contact, the influence of dirt and vibration on the measurement is greatly reduced.
