Linear encoder "Linear scale system"

Linear encoder "Linear scale system"
The linear encoder from Makome Research Institute is a measurement system that reads a scale marked with repeating N-pole and S-pole stripes using a head, detects displacement, and outputs measurement values electrically. Due to magnetic detection, it is possible to perform measurements without being affected by dust and debris. Additionally, because it uses Makome Research Institute's unique high-sensitivity magnetic detection elements, it can achieve complete non-contact between the scale and the head, preventing wear even during repeated operations, which significantly reduces maintenance. It is sometimes referred to as the Makome scale by long-time users.
