We would like to introduce a case that resolved losses during line changeovers. We adopted the "Kanban production system" and are producing 15 different types of products on one line. However, during changeovers, losses occurred due to height and width adjustments of the machinery when changing the type of workpiece. Therefore, we held discussions with the maintenance design team and automated the changeover process. We have equipped it with a linear encoder "SIE-140," among other components.
