Magnet N-pole/S-pole discriminator (Magnetic polarity discrimination device)
You can easily distinguish between the N pole and S pole of a magnet. It is also suitable for school research projects. LEDs corresponding to the N pole and S pole will light up.
The N and S poles of the magnet can be visually identified. When magnetic fields are detected, the LED lights up red for the N pole and blue for the S pole (when using the DW-350). Additionally, it is equipped with individual transistor outputs, making it easy to apply in circuits. It operates from DC 10V, so it can also be powered by connecting batteries in series. You can use it for various applications, from elementary school experiments to sophisticated control systems, depending on your ideas. * Powerful magnets can be obtained even at 100 yen shops, so feel free to try various things.
basic information
Model DW-350 (Reference) Power Supply: DC 10V to 30V (7 AA batteries in series are also OK) Transistor Output: 2 channels Protection Structure: Compliant with IP67 Size: M12×4mm, Cable 2m (Nut included) *The threshold is around 0.5mT, so it cannot detect magnets below that level or small magnetic forces such as those from the magnetic stripe of a cash card.
