If installed outside of hazardous areas, in many cases, the housing of the process analyzer is sufficient with a protection rating of IP66-NEMA4 class. However, if installed in hazardous areas, an explosion-proof certified system is required. For such environments, a stainless steel explosion-proof version of the ADI 2060TI explosion-proof analyzer, which complies with the EU ATEX directive and is certified for Class I and Class II hazardous areas, is available for titration and optical measurement applications, and there are also versions for spectroscopic measurement applications.
