0093 Bridge measures for powdered food ingredients

This is an introduction to examples of bridge measures implemented for powdered food ingredients.

To enhance the discharge effect of "dextrin" used in health foods and confectionery from silos, we have adopted the BroaDisk. Since the installation of the equipment, there have been no occurrences of bridging phenomena or other blockages, allowing for stable discharge. We have installed eight BroaDisks for a 1600φ silo. While it may seem like a somewhat high number, the BroaDisk is low-cost, making it easy to introduce multiple units. This enables even more stable discharge. Additionally, the operation does not activate all eight units simultaneously; instead, they are turned on sequentially at multiple locations, which limits air usage.
