In the supply hopper, the phenomenon of arching (bridging) occurred due to the balance of powder pressure. The customer initially installed multiple air knockers, but that did not resolve the issue, leading to their consultation. Since it is a square hopper, by simply installing two blow discs, one on each side, and with a minimal air ON time, the arching was eliminated. The greatest feature of the blow disc is that it injects air along the inner wall of the hopper. The powder pressure causes the powder to be pressed against the inner wall of the hopper, increasing the friction between the particles and the wall, which leads to the arching phenomenon; however, our product is very effective in addressing this issue.
