0174 Measures against bridging in the powdered sugar hopper
The discharge troubles caused by the rat hole phenomenon and the bridge phenomenon have been resolved!
Here is a case study where our "Brodisk" provided a solution. To prevent discharge issues from the powdered sugar hopper, we installed four Brodisks (BD-15) and sequentially activated each Brodisk using a controller (C-SV4, with four built-in solenoid valves). As a result, the gentle vibrations generated during air ejection and the aeration along the inner wall of the hopper from the surrounding silicone disk of the Brodisk fluidized the powder, resolving discharge problems caused by the rat hole phenomenon and bridging phenomenon. 【Overview】 ■ Target powder: powdered sugar ■ Average particle size: 5μm ■ Bulk density: approximately 0.3 ■ Hopper diameter: 1000φ ■ Discharge section: 200A ■ Discharge device: rotary valve ■ Brodisk shaft material: SUS316 * For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. * Our website features numerous case studies, which you can check via the link below.
basic information
【Product Specifications】 ■ Blower Disk: BD-15S-W (Special) 4 pieces ■ Controller: C-SV4 1 unit 【Key Points of This Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability, especially considering the risk of foreign material contamination. The silicone disk of this equipment excels in strength and durability. We believe you will understand this once you use it! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. A dedicated controller is also available. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. TEL: 06-6777-2777
