We would like to introduce a case where the issue of residual discharge occurring in the weighing hopper was resolved using a "Blow Disk." A customer consulted us, stating that there was a significant amount of residue adhering in the carbon black weighing hopper, and although they attempted to address it with a knocker and a vibrator, it was unsuccessful. They inquired whether the Blow Disk could help. We lent our product to the customer, who installed it in a dummy hopper and confirmed the air injection and vibration. After reviewing the hopper design, we provided recommendations for the appropriate model and configuration. As a result of the implementation, the residual amount was reduced to about 500g. The customer praised us highly, noting that there are many types of materials, and we were able to resolve the issue for all of them.
