We would like to introduce a case where a blow disk was used as a bridging countermeasure at the discharge section of a dryer hopper. Flake-shaped raw materials can present more troublesome cases compared to pellets or general grinding materials. In this instance, to address this issue, we are injecting air at a higher pressure for each blow disk individually. Due to the high temperature, we are using a high-heat silicone rubber product for the elastic disk material of the blow disk. 【Summary of Conditions】 ■ Hopper Diameter: Ø800 ■ Target Material: PET flakes, 8mm screen PASS product ■ Equipment Arrangement: Four blow disks installed at the same circumference at the location where bridging occurs above the discharge section ■ Control: The blow disks are sequentially activated with air ON one by one using a controller (C-SV4) that has four built-in solenoid valves. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
