"If there is a staff cafeteria in a flour mill, does the entire factory's emissions qualify as animal-derived food recycling resources?" Even if the food manufacturing factory only handles plant-based products, if there is a staff cafeteria (a building or floor that handles meat) within the same business premises, and if the residues emitted from the food manufacturing process and the food residues containing meat emitted from the staff cafeteria are not distinguished and are emitted together, it is judged that the food recycling resources emitted from that business premises also qualify as "animal-derived food recycling resources," and thus are subject to heating treatment of 90°C or higher for more than 60 minutes. It is necessary to distinguish and separately store and manage the residues emitted from the food manufacturing process and the food residues containing meat emitted from the staff cafeteria. Okadora Cyclone Dryer can propose dryers that comply with this regulatory amendment.
