Holger has completed the acquisition of Physik Instrumente (PI). All regulatory approvals have been obtained, and the transaction officially took effect on March 31, 2026. As a result, Dr. Michael Albiez has been appointed as the new CEO of PI, succeeding former CEO Markus Spanner. Going forward, PI's global operations will be integrated into Holger's newly established "Positioning Division," further strengthening strategic efforts in high-growth and technologically advanced markets. Meanwhile, PI will continue to operate as an independent entity, maintaining its company name, brand, and presence in global markets as before.
