High-precision and high-speed measurement of aspheric optical components using a hexapod.
Mahr's non-contact optical measurement system "MarOpto TWI 60" employs the PI-made hexapod "H-824" as its positioning mechanism. By precisely controlling the calibration sphere and the measurement target, it measures the entire surface of aspheric and freeform optical components in 20 to 30 seconds without using CGH or traditional stitching.
