This is a practical training course for the re-certification examination of Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 1 and Level 2 technicians. It is aimed at those taking the re-certification examination from August 21 to 25. The Chiba Prefecture Non-Destructive Testing Research Association and the Chiba Prefecture Steel Frame Industry Association are co-hosting a practical training course for re-certification candidates for NDI certification qualifications UT Level 1 and Level 2, in accordance with JIS Z 2305: 2013, as detailed below. 1. Target Participants: Candidates for the re-certification examination held in the Tokyo area from August 21 to 25. 2. Training Venue: Chiba City, Inage Ward, Tendai 6-13-1 Chiba Prefectural Industrial Support Technology Research Institute, 1st Floor Conference Room. 3. This is information about the ultrasonic flaw detector handling training session. As of April 25, 2024, there are openings available. Japan Welding Engineering Center May 15 (Wednesday) to May 16 (Thursday) - 2 days, UT Level 1, 12 participants each for R and G June 4 (Tuesday) to June 6 (Thursday) - 3 days, UT Level 2, 12 participants each for R and G In the practical training session, we aim to provide instruction that closely resembles the actual practical examination, with the goal of having all participants pass. Additionally, for Level 2 candidates, we will also provide guidance on the preparation of NDT instructions. Furthermore, during the ultrasonic training session, practical instruction will be conducted using the same digital flaw detectors that will be used in the practical examination, so please fill in the type name of the flaw detector (G type or R type) you applied for on the application form for this training session. We would like to inform you about the Autumn UT Level 2 Practical Exam Preparation Course. This event will be held under the auspices of the Osaka Prefecture Steel Construction Industry Cooperative Association. This is an announcement for the UT Level 2 Practical Exam Preparation Course led by the renowned Sonai Engineer Shojo, known as a charismatic instructor in UT training. Among the 40 participants who passed the secondary exam in the spring of the fourth year, 31 achieved a pass rate of 78%, which is significantly higher compared to the average pass rate of candidates (below 30%).
