[Basic structure diagram included] A completely new self-locking reduction mechanism using spur gears.

Introducing a lineup of gear reducers, rack jacks, and winches equipped with a new self-locking mechanism!

We have developed numerous applied products featuring a unique position-holding function with a deceleration mechanism (shoji-lock), which have been well received by our customers. (Patents obtained both domestically and internationally) <Features of shoji-lock products> - When rotation is applied from the input side, the output side decelerates and transmits power, but rotation is not possible from the output side = self-locking function. This means that it can hold a load at the desired position without the need for brakes. - Compared to worm gear reducers with the same self-locking function, it is highly efficient. Furthermore, while worms have input and output axes that are orthogonal, this mechanism uses spur gears, allowing the input and output shafts to be aligned in a straight line (in-line), resulting in a compact design that saves space and reduces weight. - Unlike ratchets or one-way clutches, it can hold a load at any position where motion is stopped, regardless of the direction of rotation. Additionally, there is no ratchet noise, making it suitable for use in quiet environments. - It has a basic sealed structure (IP65) and is maintenance-free. - We offer a variety of applied products, including gear reducers that utilize this self-locking mechanism, winches, and linear actuators (rack jacks). We also develop original devices in response to customer requests.

basic information

<Inline Reducer = S Reducer> - Higher efficiency compared to worm reducers - Much more compact design and lightweight compared to large worm reducers - Lineup of manual models supporting SRM 5 to 100 kgm - Lineup of electric models supporting SRE 3 to 50 kgm <Winch = S Winch> - Load is wound up with a handle and held in place when the handle is released - Unlike a ratchet, it can hold position in both forward and reverse rotation - Can be driven by commercially available electric tools (drill drivers) - Available in a type with a locking and releasing function for quick wire release - Lineup of manual models supporting SWM load 50 to 300 kg - Lineup of electric (tool) models supporting SWE load 50 to 250 kg - Motor built-in type SWP is also available <Rack Jack = S Linear Actuator> - Raises and lowers a round rack rod and holds the load in place - Additional guide rods can be added in case of buckling concerns - Lineup of manual models supporting SLM load 50 to 200 kg - Lineup of electric models supporting SLE load 100 to 800 kg * Please consult us for any special products (high load conditions, all SUS, etc.)

Applications/Examples of results

"Shōji-lock" that stops movement An absolute stop that maintains load at the desired position Not only transmits power but also assists in this fundamental action of wanting to hold a load. On land... for automobile manufacturing lines, solar panel manufacturing lines, and nuclear power plants At sea... for opening and closing ship steering control panels, for underwater survey retrieval, and for raising and lowering the roofs of houseboats In the air... for maritime rescue, for power line repair work, and for cleaning gondolas on high-rise buildings It is adopted in various situations and for various purposes. *For more details, please refer to the case studies and our website.
