It can rotate in both forward and reverse directions and holds the load when stopped. It can be widely used as a disaster response and energy-saving measure without a power supply. Additionally, since it is not a ratchet, it operates very quietly, making it suitable for nighttime work and environments such as hospitals, laboratories, and experimental sites. The SUS version can be used in clean rooms as well as in marine and ship applications. The aluminum version is lightweight and convenient for portability. In addition to the manual-only (SWM series), there is a wide range of options available, including an electric type (SWE series) that can be driven by a commercially available socket attached to a hexagonal end electric tool driver, and a motor-driven type (SWP series).
