Self-locking winches, rack jacks, and reducers are widely used in clean rooms. The key factors are lightweight, smart, and compact!

We have developed numerous application products equipped with a unique load-holding function (shoji-lock) that have been well received by our customers. <Features of shoji-lock products> - When rotation is applied from the input side, the output side decelerates and transmits power, but rotation is not possible from the output side = self-locking function. This means that it can hold the load at the desired position without the need for brakes. - Compared to worm gear reducers with the same self-locking function, it is highly efficient. Additionally, while the worm has input and output axes that are orthogonal, our design has the input and output shafts aligned in a straight line (in-line), making it significantly more compact and space-saving, as well as lightweight. - Unlike ratchets or one-way clutches, it can hold the load at any position when motion is stopped, regardless of the direction of rotation. Furthermore, there is no ratchet sound, making it suitable for use in quiet environments. - It features a basic sealed structure (IP65) and is maintenance-free. - We offer a variety of application products, including gear reducers that utilize this self-locking mechanism, winches, and linear actuators (rack jacks). - Stainless steel versions are also available for each model, suitable for clean room applications. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

The load-holding function equipped reduction mechanism (shoji-lock) has been developed for application products such as winches and rack jacks since the early 2000s. Steady sales activities have borne fruit, and it has begun to be adopted for various applications. Unlike conventional worm reduction gears with self-locking functions where the input and output shafts are orthogonal, our design features them in a straight line (inline), allowing for a compact design and space-saving, which has received high praise and resulted in a diverse range of practical examples. (Patents have been obtained in Japan, the United States, the EU (Germany, France, the UK), China, South Korea, and Taiwan.) Furthermore, starting in April 2023, we launched a new overseas parts procurement business, beginning with Vietnam. Currently, a majority of our parts are procured overseas, and leveraging our achievements and network, we aim to assist companies struggling with cost reduction in parts procurement.
