This is a compact and lightweight winch equipped with our company's self-locking mechanism (Shoji-Lock). It holds the load at the position where the workpiece is lifted. Additionally, it can be restarted from any position in either direction without releasing the brake. Its lightweight and compact design allows for space-saving, and it has been adopted and well-received in various fields. In addition to the manual-only (SWM series) models, we also offer electric tool drill driver-operated (SWE series) models. The load capacity ranges from 50 kg to 300 kg. Furthermore, we have some models made of stainless steel suitable for clean rooms, as well as aluminum models that achieve further weight reduction. It can be widely used for work in places without power, disaster response, energy-saving measures, and defense/military applications. Since it is not a ratchet, it operates very quietly, making it suitable for nighttime work and for use in hospitals, laboratories, and experimental sites. The stainless steel version is not only used in clean rooms but also widely adopted in marine and ship-related applications. The aluminum version is very convenient for portability due to its lightweight design. It is also used in defense and military applications.

The load-holding function equipped reduction mechanism (shoji-lock) has been developed for application products such as winches and rack jacks since the early 2000s. Steady sales activities have borne fruit, and it has begun to be adopted for various applications. Unlike conventional worm reduction gears with self-locking functions where the input and output shafts are orthogonal, our design features them in a straight line (inline), allowing for a compact design and space-saving, which has received high praise and resulted in a diverse range of practical examples. (Patents have been obtained in Japan, the United States, the EU (Germany, France, the UK), China, South Korea, and Taiwan.) Furthermore, starting in April 2023, we launched a new overseas parts procurement business, beginning with Vietnam. Currently, a majority of our parts are procured overseas, and leveraging our achievements and network, we aim to assist companies struggling with cost reduction in parts procurement.
