This is a compact inline reduction gear equipped with our company's self-locking mechanism (Shoji-Lock). For example, it can hold the load even if the movement is stopped during the ascent, rotation, or tilting of the device, making it suitable for requests such as wanting to conduct experiments or perform tasks at a stopped position. Another feature is that, unlike conventional worm reduction gears with self-locking functions that require a considerable amount of space due to the input and output shafts being perpendicular, our design has the input and output shafts aligned in a straight line (inline), allowing for a lightweight, smart, and compact design that can be easily integrated into various devices. The lineup can be selected based on output shaft torque and reduction ratio, with options available for output shaft torque ranging from 5 to 100 kgm (load × torque arm). Some products are also available in all stainless steel for cleanroom compatibility. The basic model is coated with black Teflon, which is resistant to rust. Additionally, it can operate and hold loads even without power during emergencies. It is being introduced as a mechanical component in various fields, including defense and military, plant-related applications, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, automotive assembly lines, and device lid opening and closing.
