This is a compact and lightweight winch equipped with our company's self-locking mechanism (Shoji-Lock). It holds the load at the position where the workpiece is lifted. Additionally, it can be restarted from any position without releasing the brake, whether in forward or reverse rotation. Its lightweight and compact design allows for space-saving, and it has been adopted and well-received in various fields. In addition to the manual-only (SWM series) models, we also offer electric models (SWE series) that can be driven by power tools like drill drivers. The load capacity ranges from 50 kg to 300 kg. Furthermore, we have some models made of stainless steel suitable for clean rooms and vacuum equipment, as well as aluminum models that achieve further weight reduction. The manual-only versions are dustproof. These winches can be widely used in locations without power, for disaster response, energy-saving measures, defense and military applications, and explosion-proof measures. Since it is not a ratchet, it operates very quietly, making it suitable for nighttime work and environments such as hospitals, research facilities, and laboratories. The stainless steel models are used not only in clean rooms but also in marine and ship-related applications. The aluminum models are very convenient for portability due to their lightweight. They are also adopted in medical devices, food machinery, and defense and military applications.

The load-holding function equipped reduction mechanism (shoji-lock) has been developed for application products such as winches and rack jacks since the early 2000s. Steady sales activities have borne fruit, and it has begun to be adopted for various applications. Unlike conventional worm reduction gears with self-locking functions where the input and output shafts are orthogonal, our design features them in a straight line (inline), allowing for a compact design and space-saving, which has received high praise and resulted in a diverse range of practical examples. (Patents have been obtained in Japan, the United States, the EU (Germany, France, the UK), China, South Korea, and Taiwan.) Furthermore, starting in April 2023, we launched a new overseas parts procurement business, beginning with Vietnam.
