We have developed and adopted numerous application products equipped with a unique load-holding function (Shoji-lock). <Shoji-lock Product Features> - When rotation is applied from the input side, the output side decelerates and transmits power, but rotation is not possible from the output side, which means it has a self-locking function. In other words, it can hold the load at the desired position without the need for brakes. - Compared to worm gear reducers with the same self-locking function, it is highly efficient. Additionally, while the worm has input and output axes that are perpendicular, our design features input and output shafts that are in a straight line (inline), making it considerably compact, space-saving, and lightweight. - Unlike ratchets or one-way clutches, it can hold the load at any position when motion is stopped, regardless of the direction of rotation. Furthermore, there is no ratchet noise, making it suitable for use in quiet environments. - It has a basic sealed structure (equivalent to IP65), is maintenance-free, and is suitable for explosion-proof areas. - We offer a variety of application products, including gear reducers that utilize this self-locking mechanism, winches, and linear actuators (rack jacks). - Stainless steel versions are also available for cleanroom applications across various models. - There are cases where a switch from small hydraulic jacks is being considered.

SLW Series SLW for 100kg: A specification that combines our winch and rack jack. The rack rod rises and falls by 11.5mm per rotation, and of course, it holds the load even when the operation stops. Compact with multiple applications! A version for 300kg is also available.

SRM Series As shown in the image, it is adopted for the tilting and flipping device. It holds the load (self-locking) when tilted, and it is very compact, which has received positive feedback.

Special Product Case 1 We handle a large number of all-stainless steel products suitable for clean rooms in fields such as semiconductors, medical devices, and food machinery, as well as in the marine sector. The photo shows an electric tool winch installed inside a seabed survey buoy. The input shaft is hexagonal, allowing it to be driven with commercially available sockets. By attaching a dedicated manual speed increaser on the opposite side of the input shaft, it becomes a hybrid type that can be quickly wound manually.

Unlike conventional worm reduction gears with self-locking functions where the input and output shafts are orthogonal, our design features them in a straight line (inline), allowing for a compact design and space-saving, which has received high praise and resulted in a diverse range of practical examples. (Patents have been obtained in Japan, the United States, the EU (Germany, France, the UK), China, South Korea, and Taiwan.) Furthermore, starting in April 2023, we launched a new overseas parts procurement business, beginning with Vietnam.
