Moss Coat is an environmentally friendly paint developed by Takubo, which has been dedicated to painting technology. It is an inorganic paint that allows for the fusion with living moss. When applied to galvanized steel sheets and made into panels (Moss Coat Panels), and then installed on roofs, it creates a lightweight, high-heat-insulating panel. This helps reduce air conditioning energy consumption indoors.

● The Moscoat panel is a panel coated with a uniquely developed inorganic paint, Moscoat, combined with sand moss, applied to substrates such as colored steel sheets. ● Installing the Moscoat panel, which has been treated with Moscoat on a galvanized steel sheet roof, enhances the building's heat insulation performance. ● The compact and lightweight heat insulation panel, Moscoat panel, is maintenance-free and maintains its heat insulation performance. ● When installed on a folded plate roof, it exhibits a heat insulation effect of approximately -23°C (according to the roof installation test by Takubo Engineering at the Togane Technical Center). ● There are versions available for outdoor roofs (heat insulation), wall surfaces (landscape/design), and indoor use (design).
