| Jet Design System Realizing a Dream-like Coating | Jet Design is an inkjet painting system equipped with ultra-fast decorative capabilities. It features a compact inkjet painting system that utilizes original inkjet heads and UV irradiation lamps built with proprietary technology, allowing for the high-speed and high-quality rendering of digitized original designs onto workpieces.
basic information
High-Precision Decoration By adopting high-precision linear rails, the algorithm for the moving work and the ink impact is calculated with high accuracy, allowing for precise ink application. It draws at a pixel level, accurately and faithfully reproducing the installed design. Wide Production Range Possible from Small Batches Production can be done from a single workpiece. The notion that "without a large quantity, costs won't add up" is a thing of the past. There is no waste of ink, and with no overspray, there is no need for a booth. The equipment is also compact, resulting in no cost loss. Improved Yield With a unique head configuration technology that combines CMYK plus LED-UV irradiation, the film is completed instantly, leaving no room for dust or defects. This enables high-speed and high-quality film formation. CMYK Plus LED-UV Irradiation The uniquely developed CMYK multi-head ink system is equipped with LED-UV irradiation devices. The calculated program applies UV irradiation where necessary, allowing the film to form instantly. Jet Design System Dedicated Decoration Ink "Jetron" The original dedicated ink "Jetron," which achieves the highest decoration performance, comprehensively meets requirements for expressiveness, film quality, high-speed decoration, and low VOC emissions.

Announcement of a metal decoration system using jet design.
The metal decoration system is based on the metal primer jet technology developed by Takubo and the product business partnership with Toshiba Machine Engineering. It offers a metal film formation function intended for automotive emblems and proposes low VOC, high value-added products using inkjet technology. This was demonstrated and exhibited at the Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd. Solution Fair 2018. The inkjet decoration device applies color decoration to molded products (material PC), and a high-speed sputtering device forms functional metal films. Additionally, an inkjet primer and clear coating application device applies primer to firmly adhere the material, enhancing wear resistance and gloss through clear coating. The exhibition also featured a demonstration of "Swanist." 2018/05/29 Public Relations Office

We held a demonstration of the swanist.
From May 17 to 19, 2018, we sponsored the Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd. Solution Fair 2018, where we showcased the latest teaching assist software "Swanist" specifically designed for painting robots, along with live demonstrations. ◎ Latest Teaching Assistant Software for Painting Robots: "Swanist" The teaching tasks that previously required robot language input can now be performed semi-automatically. The software simplifies tasks such as point input, editing, and program creation, allowing for easy operation on a computer. Swanist can replay teaching data and conduct simulations in a virtual space. At the same time, it can reproduce movements with the Swan robot, enabling data creation while confirming the movements. In the future, we aim for full automation, from reading work data to automatic teaching, fluid analysis, and data conversion. The exhibition also featured live demonstrations of "Jet Design." 2018/05/29 Public Relations Office

2.5D decorative system by jet design
Jet Design is engaged in various decorative techniques through high drawing performance and precise droplet impact accuracy. ◎ 3D Inkjet Technology that Creates Realistic Textures With 2.5D layering technology in inkjet printing, it is possible to create textures that resemble real wood grain or leather. ◎ Lenticular Printing with Inkjet Technology Lenticular printing, which provides depth through lens effects, can now be produced using inkjet technology at one-fifth of the traditional cost, thanks to a simplified manufacturing method. (Note 1) Lenticular printing refers to a special printing technique that allows for three-dimensional or motion effects on flat printed materials.
