Teaching Assistant Software SWANIST
Towards efficient painting: Achieving teaching-less painting with SWANIST.
Release operators from the teaching tasks of painting robots - SWANIST. Swanist solves the difficult problem of robot teaching. Swanist is a "Teaching Assistant Software" developed specifically for Swan robots. It reduces the previous work processes and allows for painting simulations in a virtual space while viewing a screen linked to the actual robot. It simplifies the workability of painting production, contributes to reducing painting costs, decreasing paint consumption, improving quality, managing film thickness, enhancing maintenance efficiency, addressing environmental concerns, and suppressing VOC emissions.
basic information
◆Features 〈Simplification of Work Processes〉 The tasks of inputting points, editing, and creating registration programs have been simplified, allowing for the import of 3D data and painting simulations to be conducted at an unprecedented speed. 〈Robot Teaching Without Difficult Programming Languages〉 No input instructions using robot programming languages are required. You only need to register the S point (start point), W point (turning point, spray width), and D point (depth point, size of the plane). No special knowledge is necessary. 〈Painting Simulation and Data Creation〉 In a virtual space, actual painting is reproduced. This allows for the confirmation of painting productivity (time reduction, film thickness management, teaching behavior) on the screen. Additionally, by sending the completed data to the robot, similar reproduction becomes possible, enabling immediate implementation of the same painting even from a distance by simply sending the data. 〈Evolution〉 Swanist is continuously evolving towards completely teaching-less painting. We are currently developing technology for fluid analysis of paint mist behavior, paint film, and film thickness, aiming for more advanced virtual painting.

Applications/Examples of results
Aiming for a world without teaching, we are gradually developing and releasing it. ● For pre-painting simulation. ● Cost estimation. Creation of offline teaching data. ● Check the status of robots in production via smartphone. Among other things, real-time verification (smartphone-based Swannist viewer).
Detailed information
-
<3D Data Loading and Work Placement> All information about the main body, gun, and workpiece is reflected on the screen, and it is possible to visually operate using 3D animation. Furthermore, scanned workpieces can easily have their diameter and quantity changed, and the position and angle of the workpieces can be freely adjusted with the mouse.
-
"Automatic Pathline Generation Automatic Teaching" Based on the imported work data, the distance and angle between the work and the gun are adjusted, and teaching points are registered.
-
<Painting Simulation> Create teaching data and simulate it in a virtual space. At the same time, it can be reproduced in motion using a swan robot.
-
"Coating Production Online Coating" All information, including teaching data and startup data, is digitized and transferred to the Swan Robot. This allows for online reproduction of painting from a distant location.

Full version free for 14 days - Painting cost calculation app SWANIST
In response to many requests, the paint cost calculation app is now available for free for 14 days. After downloading "SWANIST" from the Apple App Store, you can use the full version for 14 days. You can try out the original features such as painting cost calculation, paint cost calculation, equipment cost calculation, and record keeping. Please note that once the trial period ends, access will be closed, and you will no longer be able to view saved calculation records. If you purchase the app, you will continue to have access to your saved data. Please be aware that if you delete the app, the data will be lost. (Data that has been lost cannot be recovered.) The trial period is 14 days, during which you can try the full version of the paint cost calculation app. After 14 days, you will not be able to use any created data. To continue using your saved data, you will need to purchase the "SWANIST" app. The price is 13,000 yen (including tax).

Paint Cost Calculation App Released
Ways to know the cost of painting. We have added a new painting cost calculation app to the teaching assistant software "Swanist." By simply selecting a painting method and entering the conditions, you can calculate the painting cost. The options are "R Technology" and "Others." R Technology calculates costs based on our rotational painting technology, which assumes that the painting cost calculation is based on rotational painting. When you select our painting system, equipment costs and utility costs are also calculated. It calculates the painting cost per workpiece using R Technology for rotational painting. "Others" refers to the calculation of painting costs using painting techniques other than R Technology. It provides a simple cost calculation based on painting methods such as "net painting" and "hanging painting." It calculates the painting cost per workpiece in a simplified manner.
