Reflow Temperature Logger System
A logger system suitable for temperature measurement of printed circuit boards and electronic components during reflow. Compatible with temperature measurement in a vacuum reflow oven.
This is a temperature monitoring system (temperature logger) manufactured by Fluke Process Instruments, a company specializing in temperature measurement loggers (formerly Datapaq). By housing the temperature logger in a heat-resistant case, the system can be introduced into the furnace. This allows for the measurement object to be transported within the furnace together with the logger, eliminating the need to extend thermocouples from the measuring device outside the furnace. Temperature measurement has become easier in long reflow ovens and vacuum reflow furnaces where it is impossible to discharge thermocouples outside the furnace.
basic information
Records the product temperature in the reflow oven without extending the thermocouple too long. The accompanying software performs pass/fail judgment and analysis of the temperature profile, accurately identifying problem areas. The data logger comes in three types: 4, 6, and 12 channels. The 4-channel type (data logger model DQ1804) features a very compact size with a micro connector. It is suitable for both standard reflow and selective soldering. The DP5 series loggers (6 and 12 channel types) support real-time monitoring via Bluetooth. (*Please note that Bluetooth communication is based on short-range communication and does not guarantee the use of real-time monitoring functions with all ovens.)

Applications/Examples of results
Nitrogen reflow furnace, vacuum reflow furnace, selective soldering equipment, etc. Reflow processes for various electronic components and automotive devices (IPM modules), etc. Additionally, due to the long-duration heat-resistant case, it can also be used in the manufacturing processes of electronic devices other than reflow.
