Peptide mapping and separation of low molecular weight proteins using a mobile phase.
Peptide mapping using formic acid allows for more sensitive detection with ESI-MS.
Peptide mapping using formic acid instead of TFA enables more sensitive detection with ESI-MS. The CSH130 C18 shows outstanding performance regardless of the acidic modifier used, making it ideal for LC/MS-based peptide mapping. In LC/MS analysis using a formic acid mobile phase for enolase tryptic digest, the CSH130 C18, 1.7μm column achieved a 30% higher peak capacity compared to common fully porous or superficially porous C18 columns of the same particle size. Furthermore, analysis results of high molecular weight peptides and low molecular weight proteins demonstrated that the CSH130 C18 column with a pore size of 130Å is suitable for the separation of polypeptides up to approximately 10 kDa in molecular weight. 【Application Benefits】 - High peak capacity and unique selectivity compared to other C18 columns - Compatibility with formic acid and ESI-MS - High separation ability for analytes up to approximately 10 kDa - CSH130 C18 has been QC tested with cytochrome c tryptic digest For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
