Future Artisan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa, Tokyo, President and CEO: Tsuyoshi Tanaka) is pleased to announce its participation as a corporate mentor in the "Junior SDGs Camp (Workshop for Solving Environmental Issues in the Asia Region and Beyond)" organized by the Ministry of the Environment at the Osaka-Kansai Expo (EXPO2025), which will be held from April 13 (Sunday) to October 13 (Monday, public holiday) in 2025. This workshop aims to foster international environmental leaders of the future by encouraging students to generate ideas and engage in practical discussions to address environmental issues in the Asia region and beyond. Participants will be divided into 10 teams consisting of approximately 100 students from Japan and abroad. Based on themes set for each team, the participating students will discuss and develop realistic and feasible solutions, with the final results scheduled to be presented on September 4 (Thursday) and 5 (Friday) at the "Sustainability Dome" within the Osaka-Kansai Expo venue. From our company, two individuals, the ESG Business Manager and the Sustainability Promoter, will participate as corporate mentors for each team, supporting the students in their discussions and proposal development, as well as promoting efforts toward the realization of a sustainable society.

In response to these changes, Japan's manufacturing industry and its value chain are now strongly required to contribute not only to business growth but also to a sustainable society. To continue contributing to our customers in this new era, we established our purpose in 2022 as "Realizing a sustainable society through co-creation with Japan's manufacturing industry," and we have committed to making significant changes and advancing organizational reforms to achieve this. Therefore, we will change our company name from "YDC Corporation," which has been cherished by our customers for many years, to "Future Artisan, Inc."
