A new PaaS (Platform as a Service) SEMA (Smart Embedded Management Agent) Cloud application-ready platform (AEP) has been announced, providing extensive industrial IoT cloud solutions from a single source. SEMA Cloud consists of a cloud server architecture hosted on the SEMA Cloud IoT service and can be managed from a web-based SEMA Cloud management portal. The cloud solution includes gateway software with IoT stacked on top of intelligent SEMA middleware, allowing embedded devices to securely connect to the cloud using the latest encryption technologies without changing their design. SEMA Cloud is a custom specification application development platform that is application-ready or open and flexible.

The release of SEMA 3.0, the latest remote management middleware tool, has been announced, which allows for real-time, flexible, and accurate monitoring and collection of system performance and status information from distributed devices. With the latest features offered by SEMA 3.0, you can enhance the extensive capabilities of the existing proven SEMA solutions. The improved reporting and monitoring functions display detailed information about the CPU, system memory, and network interfaces of distributed devices. The new control features allow for increasing CPU frequency and configuring ACPI (Advanced Configure and Power Interface) power management. A new line of industrial PC products equipped with features specialized for stores and game applications has been announced.
