The "Pregius S" series from Japan Bopixel is an industrial machine vision camera equipped with Sony's 4th generation CMOS sensor, "Pregius S." It simultaneously achieves compact size, high resolution, and high frame rates, making it ideal for next-generation inspection, measurement, and robotics applications. The "Pregius S" features a BSI (back-illuminated) structure that balances high sensitivity and low noise while being significantly smaller than previous models. This allows for the adoption of more compact optical systems even with the same pixel count, contributing to the overall miniaturization of the system and cost reduction. This series offers a diverse lineup ranging from 5.1M to 24.6MP, supporting high-speed data transfer and synchronized shooting of multiple units via the CoaXPress interface. It demonstrates its true value in applications requiring fine and high-speed image processing, such as semiconductor wafer inspection and appearance inspection of electronic substrates. The adoption of Ultra Low Power FPGA enables low heat generation and stable long-term operation.
