Detailed information
-
Dual Lamp System In the event of a malfunction in the main light source lamp, it can be switched to the installed spare lamp. This minimizes interruptions in continuous measurements due to malfunctions of the light source lamp.
-
Equipment standardization The ISIScan software offers various displays required for process management, such as scale adjustment of measurement intervals, display of moving averages, and simultaneous display of trend graphs for various components, all optimized for online operation through its interface.
-
Powder Probe This is a dedicated sensor optimized for measuring powdered samples such as whole milk powder and skim milk powder. It can be installed at points where the measurement samples naturally fall, such as directly below a spray dryer. A certain amount of the sample is collected at the spoon-shaped tip of the powder probe for measurement. The powder probe is equipped with a function that automatically purges the sample after measurement using compressed air from a compressor.
-
Lateral Transmittance Probe It can be used for measuring slurry or highly viscous samples such as butter, cream, and mozzarella. Near-infrared light is irradiated onto the sample, and the information reflected (transmitted reflected light) from the sample is read by the sensor tip. It can be installed in piping using GEA's flow cell attachment.
-
Window Reflection Directly attach the Profos main unit to the piping or conveyor of the manufacturing line for online measurement of powder and granular samples. Samples passing over the measurement section equipped on the main unit are continuously measured (the glass window of the measurement sensor section comes into contact with the measurement sample). The main unit can be flexibly installed on the manufacturing line using flow cells and compatible flanges supplied by GEA.
-
Direct light It is difficult to measure using the window reflection method (a measurement method where the sample and window are in direct contact), so it can be used when you want to measure with the sample and measurement sensor separated. For example, it can be used when you want to continuously measure the fat content of meat flowing on a conveyor belt.
