FT-IR Emulsion Component Measurement Device "Mircoscan Mars"
Equipped with various newly developed technologies in a compact package!
The "MilkoScan Mars" is an FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared) type milk component measurement device designed for raw milk and drinking milk. It can measure up to six components in about one minute. Additionally, by adopting a flow system that eliminates the need for a homogenizer and incorporating an automatic standardization function, it significantly reduces equipment maintenance costs. Furthermore, it is equipped with an abnormal milk screening function that can be applied to foreign matter contamination testing, achieving excellent levels of measurement accuracy, running costs, and functionality. 【Features】 ■ Equipped with FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared) measurement mechanism ■ Standard milk calibration curve included ■ Maintenance costs significantly reduced by newly developed flow system ■ Automatic standardization performed upon device startup, allowing for equipment management with minimal calibration management ■ Automatic zeroing/automatic cleaning functions included *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Report] Dairy and Dairy Product Analysis Equipment Open House and Seminar (Tokyo, Fukuoka)
We held an open house for the MilkoScan series, which has become a global standard in the dairy industry, along with other NIR analysis devices in Tokyo and Fukuoka. Those who brought their own samples were able to experience measurements with each model, and I hope they gained a better understanding of the actual operations! We have a range of devices that can assist in the rapid and efficient analysis of tasks, so if you are interested, please feel free to contact us. TEL: 03-5962-4811 / Mail: info@foss.co.jp

[Report] Milk Solution Week (Morioka Venue)
Recently, we held a seminar, an open house (sample measurement), and a technical training session for users as part of Milk Solution Week in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. In the seminar, we introduced a wide range of topics, including not only the MilkoScan but also the automation of somatic cell count/bacterial count analysis and sterile sampling. During the open house, participants had the opportunity to experience measuring their own samples using the new MilkoScan FT3, and to confirm the operation of somatic cell count/bacterial count analysis using the BacSomatic. Although the parts manufacturing for the FT1 will conclude in three years, we conducted a technical training session for this still-active model. Thank you to everyone who participated. Foss Japan will continue to provide useful information and hold events for everyone in the future. If you are interested in seminar materials or other inquiries, please contact Foss Japan.

Utilizing Near-Infrared Analysis in Tofu Manufacturing - A Case Study from Marutsune Co., Ltd.
At Marutsune Co., Ltd., which manufactures and sells tofu in Chiryu City, Aichi Prefecture, we have introduced FOSS analysis equipment to confirm the components of the raw materials, soybeans and soy milk. 【Natural agricultural products are never the same】 Understanding the protein and moisture content of raw soybeans at all times is essential, so we have introduced the non-destructive and rapid near-infrared measurement device, Infratec NOVA, for component analysis of soybeans. This is reflected in the tofu preparation conditions. 【Rapid measurement of protein and total solids】 The Milkoscan Mars is a rapid component testing device for raw milk, with calibration curves for protein, fat, total solids, and non-fat solids, which we have applied to the soy milk testing used in tofu production. This has clarified the protein and total solids content of the soy milk produced daily, allowing for confirmation of the optimal protein amount before adding coagulants. [Measurement Results Example] Soy Milk A, Protein = 6.25%, Total Solids = 14.2% Soy Milk B, Protein = 6.12%, Total Solids = 14.6% ■ Component analysis device for raw material acceptance: Infratec/NOVA ■ Analysis of important soy milk components for tofu production: Milkoscan Mars ■ Higher model of soy milk/raw milk analysis device: Milkoscan FT1
