Raw milk bacterial count/somatic cell count measurement device "Baxomatic"
Simultaneous measurement of bacterial count and somatic cell count! Measurement is possible even with low-temperature samples due to the built-in heater.
"Baksomatic" is a raw milk testing solution that can be used for hygienic milk quality testing at raw milk reception sites and raw milk inspection facilities. It can be used for monitoring mastitis and hygiene management at the producer level, as well as for the acceptance testing of raw milk at dairy factories. It is capable of continuously suctioning and measuring four samples in succession. With excellent performance, operability, and safety, it can simultaneously measure low levels of bacterial counts and somatic cell counts with high precision. 【Features】 ■ Simultaneous measurement of bacterial counts and somatic cell counts ■ Equipped with flow cytometry measurement mechanism ■ Measurement of total bacterial count in raw milk (IBC) within 9 minutes ■ Measurement of somatic cell count within 2.5 minutes ■ Space-saving compact design *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

■ Simultaneous measurement of bacterial count and somatic cell count Due to a unique flow system, the suctioned raw milk is sent to either a bacterial incubator or a somatic cell mixing chamber. Measurements of bacteria and somatic cells can be performed simultaneously or separately, but there is a difference in the time taken to obtain results. Unlike bacteria, which require an 8-minute incubation, somatic cells do not require incubation, allowing for quicker results compared to bacterial measurements.

Flow Cytometry Bactosmatic is equipped with the same flow cytometry technology as Bactoscan and Fosomatic, which are widely used by milk testing organizations around the world. Flow cytometry is a method for rapidly and sensitively quantifying the characteristics of cells and bacteria present in raw milk, utilizing laser light and fluorescent dyes to measure them one by one. It has been widely used for transaction testing in milk testing organizations globally for many years.

■ Reagent Bag System A safety design that allows for setup without direct contact with the reagent*. Simply set the reagent bag in the main unit and close the front door for easy setup. No pre-mixing of each reagent is necessary.
-
■ Dedicated reagents for precision management (BCS, PCS, FMA) Monitoring the measurement performance of bacterial counts and somatic cell counts using dedicated reagents containing artificial particles. The detection performance can be adjusted to match the sensitivity of the master machine's detection system, ensuring the reliability of daily measurement results.

[Report] Dairy and Dairy Product Analysis Equipment Open House and Seminar (Tokyo, Fukuoka)
We held an open house for the MilkoScan series, which has become a global standard in the dairy industry, along with other NIR analysis devices in Tokyo and Fukuoka. Those who brought their own samples were able to experience measurements with each model, and I hope they gained a better understanding of the actual operations! We have a range of devices that can assist in the rapid and efficient analysis of tasks, so if you are interested, please feel free to contact us. TEL: 03-5962-4811 / Mail: info@foss.co.jp

[Report] Milk Solution Week (Morioka Venue)
Recently, we held a seminar, an open house (sample measurement), and a technical training session for users as part of Milk Solution Week in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. In the seminar, we introduced a wide range of topics, including not only the MilkoScan but also the automation of somatic cell count/bacterial count analysis and sterile sampling. During the open house, participants had the opportunity to experience measuring their own samples using the new MilkoScan FT3, and to confirm the operation of somatic cell count/bacterial count analysis using the BacSomatic. Although the parts manufacturing for the FT1 will conclude in three years, we conducted a technical training session for this still-active model. Thank you to everyone who participated. Foss Japan will continue to provide useful information and hold events for everyone in the future. If you are interested in seminar materials or other inquiries, please contact Foss Japan.
