The "MicroBio μ3D" is a fully automated rapid microbial detection and counting device that creates 3D data of colonies using unique technology that captures the shadows of colonies with a color camera, enabling differentiation from product-derived residues and other materials. Using traditional methods with agar media, you can simply set up prepared media (up to 100 petri dishes) regardless of whether it is mixed or spread plating, and it will automatically measure the number of colonies. The device automatically recognizes when petri dishes are inserted, so barcodes are not required.
