Mega Newton Press Calibration Sensor 9931A

It is possible to measure compressive forces from kN (kilonewtons) to MN (meganewtons)!

This is a quartz piezoelectric sensor that measures quasi-static and dynamic compressive forces in the mega-newton range, developed for measuring the compressive force of large industrial press machines. -* Features *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- • A very wide measurement range capable of measuring compressive forces from kilonewtons to mega-newtons • Calibration at 10% intervals of the measurement range (FS) as standard • High overload capacity • Manual operation is also possible • A variety of options for optimal installation and accurate loading

basic information

The measured load is transmitted to the quartz piezoelectric sensor through the deformation of a robust iron cylindrical element. The quartz piezoelectric element generates a charge proportional to the load, and the charge amplifier converts that charge into a proportional voltage (e.g., 0 to ±10V: FS). Depending on the application, two or more sensors can be connected for use. By connecting these calibration sensors in parallel and summing the signals, it is possible to measure larger forces.
