The 601C series piezoelectric pressure sensor is compact and highly sensitive, making it suitable for measuring very small pressure fluctuations. basic information
This piezoelectric pressure sensor has a high natural frequency, making it suitable for use in various applications that require dynamic pressure measurement. It can also measure small pressure fluctuations superimposed on large static pressures with the highest resolution. For measuring pure static pressure, piezoresistive sensors are more appropriate. The performance PiezoStar crystal element, uniquely developed by Kistler, is mounted inside a sealed case within the fully welded 601C... sensor body. PiezoStar is capable of measuring low pressures more accurately due to its high sensitivity and low noise compared to conventional crystal elements of the same size. The measured pressure is transmitted to the PiezoStar through a diaphragm. The pressure P (unit: bar) is converted into charge Q (unit: pC) by the PiezoStar, and then the charge Q is converted into voltage V by a charge amplifier. The 601C sensor series includes types with charge output (PE) and voltage output (IEPE).
