A tip diameter of Φ2.5mm, simultaneously measuring resin pressure and mold surface temperature!

The 6189A series internal pressure and mold surface temperature measurement sensor (p-T sensor) can simultaneously measure resin pressure up to 2,000 bar and mold surface temperature in plastic injection molding.

basic information

The tip diameter of 6189A... is 2.5mm. When the internal pressure received at the sensor tip is transmitted to the quartz element, a charge is generated that is accurately proportional to the pressure. This charge is converted into voltage by a charge amplifier (sold separately). The surface temperature of the resin is measured by a thermocouple formed using a unique method at the sensor tip. For processing the temperature signal, please use a commercially available K-type thermocouple amplifier. The 6189A... has the same shape as the Kistler pressure sensors 6182B... and 6158A..., but the 6189A... cannot undergo finishing processing at the sensor tip. The cables for the pressure signal and the temperature signal are bundled together and robustly protected, with the tips connected to their respective connectors for use.

This sensor is suitable for monitoring the injection molding of thermoplastic resins. (Note: It cannot be used for measuring the pressure of liquids and gases such as water and oil.)
