Mold Surface Temperature Sensor 6193B

A small sensor with a tip diameter of 1mm! Measuring the surface temperature of plastic injection molding molds!

The mold surface temperature sensor 6192B can share the mounting hole with the in-mold pressure sensor 6157B due to having the same tip diameter. The thermocouple integrated into the sensor features a very small thermal mass due to its special structure, which results in superior responsiveness compared to standard sheath thermocouples. The robust steel mesh cable is designed for high temperatures. Please note that the tip of the standard type sensor cannot be processed. The F type can be processed down to a tip of 0.5mm. (Note: This is made to order.)

basic information

This mold surface temperature sensor measures the temperature of the boundary layer between the sensor tip, which is installed to become part of the cavity surface, and the contact area with the molten resin. It is effective for monitoring injection-molded products and controlling injection molding machines and mold temperature control devices.
