The model 6162A internal pressure sensor features a structure with a Φ4mm diaphragm, welded to a robust Φ6mm sleeve. Even if low-viscosity materials enter the sensor mounting hole, it does not affect sensitivity. The pressure received by the diaphragm at the sensor tip generates a charge (pC) that is accurately proportional to the pressure when transmitted to the quartz element. This charge is converted into voltage by a charge amplifier (sold separately). The cable is replaceable.
