basic information

The internal pressure sensor 6163A has a structure with a diaphragm of Φ4mm, welded to a robust sleeve of Φ6mm. Even if low-viscosity materials intrude between the sensor mounting hole's openings, it does not affect sensitivity. The pressure received by the diaphragm at the sensor tip generates a charge (pC) that is accurately proportional to the pressure when transmitted to the quartz element. This charge is converted into voltage by a charge amplifier (sold separately). The cable is replaceable.
