Reaction Torque Sensor 9329A to 9389A

Detects even the slightest torque applied to the sensor axis with certainty!

The crystal piezoelectric reaction torque sensor is easy to install and measures dynamically changing torque on a non-rotating axis. Five sizes are available, with measurement ranges of ±1N·m, ±10N·m, ±25N·m, ±200N·m, and ±1,000N·m. -* Features *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- • Two calibration ranges (100%, 10%) • Compact and easy to install • Flexible mounting using screws on flanges at both ends • Optimal torque measurement enabled by centering ring • Through-type structure for shaft passage • Can also be used as a calibration sensor

basic information

The reaction torque sensor is coupled with high preload to the screw and nut. When torque is applied to the sensor, shear stress is transmitted to the crystal. A charge proportional to that force is generated and transmitted to the charge amplifier through the electrodes and cables. The charge amplifier converts this charge into a voltage signal proportional to it. The flanges at both ends of the sensor facilitate easy mounting to shafts or mounting adapters, allowing for space-saving installation. An optional mounting flange is also available, and adapters provided by customers can be used as well. The counterbores and centering rings on both sides enable precise coaxial mounting. Additionally, a through hole allows the shaft to pass through the inside of the sensor. A screw-in cover is also included to protect the side-mounted connector. Kistler's reaction torque sensor reliably detects even slight torque in both directions applied to the sensor axis.
