2-component torque sensor 9345B, 9365B

Simultaneously measure tensile/compressive force (Fz) and torque (Mz) with high resolution, capable of capturing slight dynamic changes!

This piezoelectric two-component torque sensor is easy to install and simultaneously measures tensile/compressive force (Fz) and torque (Mz). Its high resolution allows it to capture slight dynamic changes. It is ideal for measuring tensile/compressive forces and torque on non-rotating axes. -* Features *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- • High rigidity and high natural frequency • Compact • Easy installation with various connections possible via upper and lower flanges • Accurate torque measurement through coaxial connection with centering rings • Hollow structure allows for shaft penetration

basic information

A piezoelectric crystal element that detects compressive/tensile forces and torque is incorporated with high preload force by a nut section designed as a hollow preload bolt and sensor case. Due to the extremely high rigidity of the sensor section, the Fz and Mz components can be measured without actual displacement or angular changes. The charge generated in proportion to the force and torque is collected at the electrodes and sent to the charge amplifier via a shielded cable. The charge signal is converted into a voltage signal by the charge amplifier, allowing it to be recorded by a recorder or evaluation device. The flanges on the top and bottom of the sensor are equipped with threaded holes, making it easy to connect to shafts or adapter flanges. The centering bases on the top and bottom of the sensor enable precise coaxial connections, and the central hole allows for the passage of a shaft. The sensor is treated for rust prevention and can be used even in water splashes. The use of a connection cable (model: 1698AD2) achieves a protection rating of IP65.
