A fixed cutting dynamometer capable of calculating three-component forces and three-component moments during cutting and grinding processes. basic information
This dynamometer is installed between the top plate and the adjacent base plate with high preload using four 3-component force sensors. The arrangement of the sensors minimizes the influence of temperature, and the displacement caused by the load is negligible. Each sensor is equipped with piezoelectric crystals that respond to forces in three directions, and their signals are output via a 9-pin connector. This allows for the measurement of 3-component forces and moments. These sensors are grounded and insulated, eliminating the effects of ground loops. The dynamometer is treated for rust prevention and also prevents the intrusion of cutting oil. (It achieves protection class IP67 when connected with cables 1687B or 1677A.)

We will exhibit at EMO Hannover 2019, the world's largest metalworking trade fair.
We will be introducing new products at EMO Hannover 2019, which will be held in Hanover, Germany from September 16 (Monday) to September 21 (Saturday), 2019. At our booth, we plan to showcase the prototype of the new Piezo Tool System (PTS) for the first time. The PTS is a new system that allows for the direct measurement and monitoring of cutting forces at the tool tip in micro-turning operations, and we will explain the benefits to our customers (such as extending tool life) that come from implementing this system.
