The "AAF3&7" is an ashing furnace designed to achieve optimal ashing conditions for the complete combustion of samples. The air flow required for ashing is preheated and introduced into the furnace, and to prevent carbon from adhering to the heater section, the heater is protected with tiles made of hard alumina or silicon carbide.
