RFID Asset Management System
Functions specialized for lending and returning operations are templated. IC tags are attached to managed items, enabling lending, returning, and inventory checks using RFID.
This is a management system for tracking items using IC tags. It reliably records the history of items taken out and returned, preventing omissions and errors in ledger entries, while also supporting the early detection of forgotten returns and losses. Additionally, it enables efficient inventory checks through bulk reading with RFID handheld devices. In traditional item management operations, the following issues often arise: ♦ Handwriting or Excel input into the ledger The process of recording in the ledger or entering data into Excel during item check-out and return is cumbersome, leading to discrepancies due to entry errors. ♦ Individual confirmation during inventory checks It is necessary to take items out one by one from boxes or shelves for verification, which consumes a significant amount of time for inventory tasks. ♦ Management through ledgers Due to management via paper or Excel ledgers, it is difficult to detect unreturned items or losses early and respond quickly. This system addresses these challenges.
basic information
Features ♦ Records borrowing and returning just by touching. Eliminates the need for ledger entries and prevents recording errors. ♦ Significantly reduces the workload of inventory tasks through bulk reading with a handheld device. ♦ Instantly grasp inventory status and borrowing conditions through inventory inquiries and history inquiries. ♦ Notifies via email for items not returned, enabling early detection of forgotten returns or losses. ♦ Achieves low cost and short delivery times through a template-based system, while also flexibly accommodating customization. Main Functions Borrowing and Returning Registration Function: Registers the borrowing and returning of items, noting "when," "who," and "what" was borrowed or returned. Inventory Function: Allows inventory to be conducted simply by scanning items with an RFID handheld device. Inquiry Function / CSV Output Function: Provides screens for inventory inquiries and history inquiries. CSV output is also possible. Email Notification Function: Allows setting of return deadlines. Items past the return deadline can trigger email notifications. Search Function: Enables searching for specified tags (managed items) using an RFID handheld device.

Founded in 1894 as a textile company, Takaya Textile expanded and established its electronics division in 1966, beginning the assembly of transistor radios. Currently, in addition to contract manufacturing services (EMS) related to electronic devices, the company actively manufactures and sells in-circuit testers (printed circuit board inspection devices), RFID-related equipment (technology that enables information exchange through short-range wireless communication from IC information tags), and engages in IT consulting and system solutions, among various electronics businesses both domestically and internationally. We will continue to evolve as a corporate group that contributes to the development of society, with textiles and electronics as our two pillars.
