The HIWIN ball spline is a rolling guide spline bearing. It consists of a nut, screw, balls, and a retainer, utilizing the rolling motion of the balls for linear motion mechanisms. Due to its angular contact structure, it has a large load capacity in both radial and rotational directions. The HIWIN ball spline features three rows of load-bearing balls. The balls are arranged with opposing contact angles, and the ball rows are held in place by retainers to ensure aligned circular motion. Additionally, the adoption of an optimized retainer design enables high-speed and high acceleration/deceleration.
