We have published the data sheet for the high-temperature measuring pin 9245B, which can be used for crack detection in forged molds.
The high-temperature measuring pin 9245B series is a force sensor integrated with a flexible cable protected by a metal mesh, which can be embedded close to the machining areas of forged molds, allowing for more accurate measurement of strain and can also be used for crack detection. Additionally, it can be used to measure the pressure of molten resin when installed on the cylinder head of an injection molding machine. The operating temperature range is up to 300°C. By applying a preload, it is possible to measure strain in both the compression and tension directions. It features grounding insulation and a protection rating of IP64. The number of customers using this sensor for crack detection in forged molds is rapidly increasing! By installing the sensor, it enables automatic early detection of cracks and damage in molds, leading to a reduction in defective products and inspection labor. 【Features】 - High rigidity: It won't break even under a 1600t forging machine! - High heat resistance: Up to 300°C! - High responsiveness: Can measure in 1/5000 seconds! We have now published the data sheet for this sensor on IPROS, so please download it and take a look!

As part of our activities to contribute to the environment and society, we conducted road cleaning.
As part of Kistler Japan's activities to contribute to the environment and society, we have decided to participate in Yokohama City's program called "Hama Road Supporter" (a road foster parent system)! The first event took place today, May 30th, on Zero Waste Day, where 14 employees participated in picking up trash along the roads around the company. We were all surprised to find that, although it usually goes unnoticed, there was quite a lot of litter, such as cigarette filters and plastic waste, and we discussed continuing this effort. The trash was promptly collected by the staff from the Kohoku Ward Civil Engineering Office.

We have published a case study on the vehicle weight measurement (WIM) solution titled "Efficiently Protecting Bridges from Overloading."
Do you remember the serious accident that occurred in January 2018 when a tanker loaded with diesel fuel overturned and caught fire on the El Carrizo highway bridge in Mexico? It is said that one of the causes was the continued passage of overloaded vehicles, which led to damage to the bridge. To address this, newly constructed bridges are equipped with Kistler's Lineas sensors and WIM systems to automatically detect overloaded vehicles, allowing for accurate measurement of each vehicle's axle weight and total weight to implement traffic regulations. For specific case studies, please contact us or download the catalog from the Kistler official website or IPROS!
